You're reading: Tigipko gets controlling stake in Dniprovahonmash

Accent Production LLC (Kyiv), the ultimate beneficiary of which is founder of TAS Group Sergiy Tigipko, has got the right to ownership of the dominant controlling stake in JSC Dniprovahonmash (Dnipropetrovsk region) controlled by the group in the amount of 99.9988 percent.

According to data in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, the plant received the relevant notice on Oct. 21.

“Due to signing an agreement for securities purchase and sale with Kamet Oil LLC on Oct. 18, and taking into account the shares owned by Accent Production and its affiliates, Accent Production became the owner of the dominant controlling stake in Dniprovahonmash in the amount of 16,635,600 shares, which is 99.9988 percent of the charter capital,” the report said.

According to the regulator, the ownership structure after the acquisition by Accent Production of the dominant controlling interest in Dniprovahonmash is as follows: Accent Production LLC holds 27.7608 percent of the shares (previously this stake belonged to Kamet Oil LLC), Cypriot T.A.S. Overseas Investments Limited owns 46.6232 percent, Sertaco Limited some 27.4753 percent, and Alkemi Limited some 2.1794 percent.

All the companies are united by TAS Financial and Industrial Group, controlling the enterprise.

The highest price of the plant’s shares at which they were acquired by the company (or affiliates) during the 12 months preceding the acquisition of the dominant stake is Hr 115.

According to the state register, Accent Production LLC with a charter capital of Hr 100 million was registered at the end of 2016, its ultimate beneficiary is Sergiy Tigipko. Its core business is mediation in the sale of a wide range of goods.

Dniprovahonmash produces railway cars and specialized technological vehicles.
