Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance has announced its readiness to buy back eurobonds with maturity up to 2019 and 2020 due to the issue of new securities.
The corresponding announcement was posted on the website of the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE) on September 7 evening.
Under the offer, the Ministry of Finance is ready to buy back all 2019 eurobonds being in circulation.
The maximum volume of 2020 eurobonds buyback is limited to $1.5 billion, except for the approved bids for 2019 eurobonds buyback.
According to the ministry, the total volume of 2019 eurobonds in circulation is $1.822 billion, that of 2020 eurobonds some $1.78 billion.
