Ukraine, Austria Set For Big Year In 2019

The two nations are also ending a year in which both Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and Chancellor Sebastian Kurz visited Kyiv. While relations are friendly, many in Ukraine are alarmed by the coziness of Austrian leaders with the Kremlin, symbolized by a photograph of Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl dancing with Russian leader Vladimir Putin at her wedding.
