The surplus of Ukraine’s balance of payments in October stood at $164 million, according to the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
Thus, the deficit of the balance of payments since the beginning of the year decreased to $254 million, whereas for the ten months of 2017 a surplus of $2.074 billion was recorded.
The current account deficit in October compared to October 2017 almost quadrupled, to $863 million, in particular the deficit in the account of goods and services grew by 1.71 times, to $1.603 billion.
The current account deficit in January-October compared to the same period of 2017 increased by 2.63 times, to $4.567 billion.
