You're reading: Ukraine raises coke export by 8 times in January-July

Ukraine in January-July this year increased exports of coke and semi-coke in quantity terms by 8.2 times compared to the same period last year, to 155,799 tonnes.

According to statistics released by the State Customs Service, in monetary terms, exports of coke and semi-coke increased 22.3 times over this period, to $36.074 million.

At the same time, the product was mainly exported to Kazakhstan (33.67% of supplies in monetary terms), Turkey (18.98%) and Algeria (18.3%).

Ukraine over the seven months imported 266,760 tonnes of coke and semi-coke, which is 44.4% more compared to January-July 2020. In monetary terms, imports increased 2.2 times, to $88.374 million.

The product was mainly imported from the Russian Federation (66.19% of supplies in monetary terms), the Czech Republic (15.89%) and Poland (15.21%).
