You're reading: Ukraine’s Eleron airline jointly with Air Baltic to start transporting cargos to Riga

Ukraine’s Eleron cargo airline (Kyiv) jointly with Latvia’s Air Baltic from January 17, 2020 started transporting cargos from Kyiv to Riga (Latvia) under the program of creation of regular cargo flights from Ukraine to Europe.

“Eleron Aviation Company is the first cargo airline in Ukraine to carry out domestic cargo transportation and create an air cargo network to connect all the cities with over one million of population. The next step of Eleron is to create an international air cargo network to connect every Ukrainian city over one million of population with European countries,” the airline said in a statement posted on its website on Jan. 17 evening.

Eleron said that one flight per week from Kyiv to Riga is currently planned. In the future, it is planned to increase the frequency of flights from Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport to the capital of Latvia.

In addition, the airline plans to launch the Lviv-Riga flights.
