You're reading: Ukrainian stock market regulator allows Eurohold bonds to circulate in Ukraine

The National Securities and Stock Market Commission has allowed Eurohold Bulgaria AD (ISIN XS1731768302) bonds to circulate in Ukraine. The company owns the Ukrainian insurance companies Euroins Ukraine and European Travel Insurance.

As stated in a report of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission on May 21, the regulator made the decision on May 20.

The Commission said that the total volume of the issue is 70 million euros, and the application for admission was submitted for 305 bonds with a par value of 1,000 euros. The securities will be taken into account in the insurance reserves of Euroins Ukraine insurance company. Their maturity date is Dec. 7, 2022, and the rate is 6.5%.

Taking into account Eurohold, the total number of foreign securities admitted to circulation in Ukraine has reached 35.

The holding company Eurohold Bulgaria was founded in 1996. Its head office is located in Sofia (Bulgaria). The key countries of operation are Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Ukraine and Greece. Eurohold Bulgaria is listed on the highly liquid market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange and the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.

The long-term strategic goal of Eurohold is to become one of the leading independent financial service providers and energy market operators in South-Eastern Europe, in connection with which the company recently entered into a deal to purchase the Czech CEZ energy business in Bulgaria.

Euroins Ukraine has been operating in the Ukrainian market since 1992. It is a universal non-life insurer with about 100 representative offices throughout the country. He has 25 licenses, of which 16 are for voluntary and nine are for compulsory types of insurance.
