UkrInform: UAE’s port operator DP World interested in investing in Ukrainian port industry

A second batch of 60,000 tonnes of coal from the United States was on Oct. 12 delivered by the Victoria vessel to the state-run Yuzhny ("Southern") Sea Commercial Port in Odesa region.

One of the largest port operators in the world, the UAE’s group of companies “DP World”, which operates 78 terminals in 43 countries, has confirmed its interest in investing in the Ukrainian port industry.

This was discussed during the meeting of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko with CEO of “DP World” Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the press service of the Head of State reports.
