Oil transit through Ukraine by pipeline to European countries and Belarus in January-July 2021 decreased by 5.5% (by 405,700 tonnes) compared to the same period in 2020, to 6.962 million tonnes, according to the data of JSC Ukrtransnafta.

According to the calculations of Interfax-Ukraine, in particular, transit in the direction of Budkovce (Slovakia) amounted to 4.861 million tonnes (more by 3.6% compared to January-July 2020), Fenyeslitke (Hungary) – 1.742 million tonnes (less by 22.2%), and Mozyr (Belarus) – 359,600 tonnes (less by 17.8%).

The volume of oil transportation to Ukrainian refineries over the seven months of 2021 amounted to 1.541 million tonnes, which is 4% (some 59,500 tonnes) more than in the same period last year. In particular, oil transportation along the Odesa-Kremenchuk route amounted to 737,000 tonnes (more by 15.4%).

Thus, in January-July 2021, the total transportation of oil through the company’s pipelines amounted to 8.503 million tonnes (less by 3.9%). The share of transit volume in it is 81.9%, pumping to the country’s refineries – 18.1%.

In July 2021, oil transit through Ukraine by pipeline decreased by 20.7% (by 273,700 tonnes) compared to the same month in 2020, to 1.050 million tonnes. In particular, to Budkovets – 689,900 tonnes (less by 16.4%), and Fenyeslitke – 359,900 tonnes (less by 13%).

Pumping to Ukrainian refineries last month doubled (by 169,900 tonnes), to 339,900 tonnes.
