JSC Ukrzaliznytsia together with the European Business Association (EBA), KPMG Ukraine and the Center for Transport Strategies has initiated a survey among shippers.
“I’ll say right away that Ukrzaliznytsia will not have access to the profiles of participants, only to the final report. So there is no manipulation of the data,” head of Ukrzaliznytsia Yevhen Kravtsov said on Facebook.
He also noted that the survey will be conducted in order to obtain specific information about what are the priorities of its customers and what services need to be improved.
“In recent years, the transport system has been constantly changing. And we can’t focus solely on Soviet indicators. In addition, this will allow us to move from numbers to a clear understanding of customer expectations,” Kravtsov said.
According to him, representatives of about 70 companies should be interviewed, which makes up more than 80% of the freight transportation market, and by November a report on the survey will be prepared.
In the future, Ukrzaliznytsia with the partners plans to conduct such surveys regularly.
As reported, earlier Ukrzaliznytsia launched a strategic program to transform the procurement system.
