The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade expects to attract $35 billion needed to modernize Ukraine’s obsolete infrastructure through public-private partnership.

“Ukraine needs $35 billion to restore its infrastructure. This amount is almost equal to the entire revenue part of the budget-2018. How can we attract such funds? We believe that it’s through the public-private partnership. But the current legislation in the field fails to comply with world standards. Therefore, the Ministry of Economic Development has already developed relevant draft laws that will pave the way for real investment,” the ministry wrote on Facebook.
