The High Court of London has ordered Ukrainian tycoon Rinat Akhmetov’s SCM financial and industrial group to pay extra $760 million on June 26, 2018, for Ukraine’s telecoms giant Ukrtelecom and rejected SCM’s counterclaims over the termination of the contract for the purchase of the telecom operator, according to the news portal Liga.net.

Rinat Akhmetov is now worth an estimated $12.2 billion and still Ukraine’s richest man by far. He has increased his wealth by 76 percent, or $5.3 billion, over the last year.
