National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine says over 7,000 households have already used its new service, titled “Gas Reserve,” offering non-industrial customers to buy up gas at a low summer price to use it during the heating season.

Ukraine's regional gas enterprises, or "oblgazes." are alleged to have altered coefficients in their price formulas since October 2018 in order to swell gas supply volumes and overcharge private consumers, according to state-owned gas and oil monopoly Naftogaz.
