MINSK – Belarus has banned imports of well-known brands made by the Skoda Auto, Liquid Moly and Beiersdorf groups of companies as sanctions in response to “unfriendly actions.”

The list of prohibited goods includes the trademarks Nivea, Eucerin, La Prairie, Labello, Hansaplast, Florena, 8×4, Skin Stories, Gammon, tesa, Chaul, Coppertone, Hidrofugal, Stop The Water While Using Me.

The government passed a resolution banning these imports “to ensure the protection of national interests, taking into account the unfriendly actions against the Belarusian people.”

The main provisions of the resolution will come into effect ten days after the official publication of the document. The list of banned products will be valid for six months.
