The Committee of Permanent Representatives in the European Union (COREPER) discussed at a meeting on July 26 a proposal for the Council of the European Union on possible sanctions against a number of Russian private persons and legal entities due to supplies of Siemens turbines to Crimea, a diplomatic source in the EU’s institutions told Interfax.
