Euronews: Will Belarus’ political crisis kill off its booming IT sector?

A coworking space Lift99 in the center of Kyiv offers Ukrainian tech companies a convenient place to work and host events. On Aug. 12, the founder of the company Ragnar Sass offered his help for the Belarusian tech specialists who want to move to Ukraine and need an office. Belarus-founded company PandaDoc, for example, that relocated its employees to Ukraine currently resides in Lift99.

Pavel Liber is one of up to a thousand IT workers estimated to have quit Belarus for Ukraine over the last three months. But, while many will have left amid the violence after the disputed presidential election in August, for Liber it was different.
