MOSCOW – Gazprom has filed an appeal against the Stockholm arbitration ruling on gas supplies and will file an appeal against the ruling on gas transit before the end of March, the Russian gas giant’s deputy CEO, Alexander Medvedev, has told reporters.
“Gazprom yesterday notified Naftogaz Ukrainy that it had commenced proceedings to terminate existing contracts for the supply and transit of gas. We are acting strictly in compliance with the procedure the contracts stipulate for their termination,” he said.
