Russia’s most notorious football hooligan has assured English fans there will not be any crowd trouble at next summer’s World Cup because well-known hard men will be ‘visiting their grandmas’.

Vasily Stepanov, known as Vasily the Killer, even claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin has personally intervened to make sure there is no repeat of the Russian rampage at Euro 2016 which left two England fans in comas.
