The Nagatsinky District Court in Moscow has granted investigators’ request to close the proceedings regarding the arrest of Anastasia Vashukevich (Nastya Rybka) after ordering her release, an Interfax correspondent reported.

“The court has ruled that the hearing of the petition from the investigators to select a restraining measure in the form of remand in custody for the suspect Vashukevich should be discontinued,” Judge Natalya Borisenkova read from the ruling.

The court had received a request from the investigators “for the release of Vashukevich from custody,” the ruling said.

The court made an analogous decision with regard to Alexander Kirillov (Alex Lesley).

It was reported earlier on Jan. 22 that Vashukevich and her friend Alexander Kirillov (Alex Lesley), who were detained on suspicion of engaging others in prostitution, were released from police custody with an obligation to appear for questioning.

Vashukevich’s release was confirmed by her lawyer Dmitry Zatsarinsky.

“Rybka has walked free. More info later. Press conference at 1 p.m. tomorrow,” he wrote on his Instagram account, with a photo of Vashukevich attached.
