MOSCOW – Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak has assured the European Commission’s Vice President for the Energy Union Maros Sefcovic that nothing threatens transit of Russian gas to Europe via Ukraine, an Energy Ministry spokesperson told Interfax.

Novak and Sefcovic discussed in a telephone conversation the situation surrounding gas supplies to Ukraine and Europe following the judgment of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
