Venezuela has received 200,000 doses of the second component of the Russian-designed two-shot Sputnik V vaccine for coronavirus, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said.
“200,000 doses of Sputnik V second component arrived in Venezuela today for the country’s vaccination program,” RDIF, the vaccine manufacturer, said on Twitter on September 20.
Venezuela authorized the Russian-designed vaccine for use in January of this year.
