The March of Equality organized by KyivPride will take place in Kyiv on June 23.
“On June 23, on Sunday, the KyivPride 2019 March of Equality will be held,” KyivPride said on Facebook.
This year the theme of event will be “Freedom, Unity, Struggle,” with the slogan, “Our tradition is Freedom.”
Details of the march, which will take place from 08:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., will be released a week before.
The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine expressed its support for the event.
“We stand with all people striving for equality and non-discrimination,” the embassy said in a post decorated with a photograph of a rainbow and international LGBT logo.
