Russian Petr Nalich is a singing prodigy discovered through the help of modern technologies.
Back in 2007, he shot a music video for his song with a dorky name “Gitar” and slapped it on the YouTube. The sloppy video of him singing in an old zhyguli and calling it his Jaguar was overwhemed with thousands of hits per day. Social network users fell in love with it instantly. By then Nalich had about 40 songs composed.
He reacted to popularity quickly and uploaded all the tracks to his website for everyone’s use. Three years later he represented Russia at Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo in 2010.
Nalich sings in the genre he calles “happy baburi,” which is a strange mix of Balkan, ethno and even Cuban music. His amazing vocals and easy stage presence make his concerts a relaxing experience. He never holds back any of his songs, actively sharing them for free online.
