This guy with dreadlocks taught the wisdom of “No Woman No Cry.”
His “Could You Be Loved” and “Jamming” became hymns to free love and individuality. Bob Marley still lives in the hearts of millions of people 30 years after his death.
One of the world’s best-loved reggae musicians died at the age of 36 from skin cancer. The album “Legend” released after Marley’s death sold 20 million copies. He is known not only for his chilled and soulful music but take-it-easy lifestyle.
Marley smoked cannabis for spiritual experiences and preached love and peace through his songs. His great talent was marked in many ways, with Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award perhaps being the greatest recognition. His 66th birthday will be celebrated all over the world and Kyiv is not an exception.
