If you speak French, love good wine and want to learn more about it, sign up for a professional class.
Olivier Duffour, the head of French wine boutique Vinolioub, will take you through a five-lecture course, starting February through June. The focus is on French wines only.
Beginners and more advanced wine connoisseurs are welcome. They will be separated in two groups taking a class each month on Wednesdays or Thursdays at 7 p.m.
The French are famous for their Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Bordeaux and other grape varieties native to their land. Learn their history, difference in taste and proper glassware at the French Cultural Center. French nibbles will be provided for the advanced learners.
