Phil Weeks, SE62, Mykyta

Kyiv’s Closer club and the Kyiv Vechirniy promotional group are holding the last outdoor party of their summer series. For the season finale, the organizers are bringing French house DJ Phil Weeks. Ukrainian electronic artists SE62 and Mykyta are also on the lineup. Traditionally, the event will be held on the territory of the Kureni restaurant.

Kyivness

Curated vintage market Kyivness will yet again hold an event for fans of vintage style and adepts of sustainable fashion. Held at Small Mariinsky Palace, the market will bring together sellers of vintage items and some of the most edgy local brands that offer apparel, shoes, accessories and decor. Kyivness is worth visiting not only for shopping but also for a high-quality time in general: there will be food, drinks, music and networking with the members of Kyiv’s vibrant creative community.

‘Katya Buchatska, A Very Personal Show’

One of Ukraine’s most prominent contemporary artists, Katya Buchatska, has prepared an exhibition on which she has worked for 10 years in her studio. Not limited by specific genres or art forms, Buchatska combines photography, sculpture, painting and installations to convey her ideas. Through her exhibits at “A Very Personal Show,” the artist explores the changing nature of an art piece and its perception by the audience.

Picnic

The Picnic series held at Platforma Art Factory is wrapping up the warm season with the last edition this weekend. The two-day event will prepare a food court with a variety of enticing dishes to taste such as burgers, sushi rolls, salads and “the sweetest desserts.” There will also be a barbecue area, where visitors will be able to grill food on their own. The picnic will offer a number of entertainment options, including watching movies outdoors, doing archery, playing table tennis, traveling via virtual reality gadgets and listening to live music shows. The lineup features headliner Kadnay, an electro-pop band famous for its energetic performances. The event also has a program for children.
