Jazz and Mulled Wine Festival 

Jazz and Mulled Wine Festival will heat up the start of the cold season in Kyiv on the last weekend of September. This one-day festival will take place at one of the most romantic locations in Kyiv — Gryshko Botanic Garden’s rose garden. As the name of the festival hints, it features live jazz music shows and a fair with many types of mulled wines for all tastes and budgets. But besides jazz and mulled wine, the festival also features a cheese market, as well as a market of vintage goods, books, vinyl, and more. Also, well-known Ukrainian band DakhaBrakha will perform during the festival. The entrance to the festival is Hr 100 for adults. However, mind that the entrance to Gryshko Botanic Garden is an additional Hr 50.

‘Andriy Sahaidakovskyi. Scenery. Welcome’

Mystetskyi Arsenal continues to introduce works of renowned Ukrainian artists to its audience. This time Mystetskyi Arsenal launches an exhibition of artworks by the contemporary Lviv artist Andriy Sahaidakovskyi. Called “Andriy Sahaidakovskyi. Scenery. Welcome,” the exhibition features various art installations exploring the topics of sports and games. According to the exhibition’s organizers, Sahaidakovskyi will turn Mystetskyi Arsenal into one big art installation which will help visitors to explore his creativity and enjoy the new exhibition to the fullest. 

“Andriy Sahaidakovskyi. Scenery. Welcome.” Mystetskyi Arsenal (10-12 Lavrska St.). Sept. 18 – Jan. 24. Hr 80. Free for children under 12, people with disabilities and war veterans.  

Ivan Dorn, Pahatam, Pavel Plastikk

Another outdoor party will take place in Kyiv this Saturday. Ukrainian singer Ivan Dorn along with Kyiv DJs Pahatam and Pavel Plastikk will entertain the audience and give visitors a chance to dance their hearts out to electronic music. The event is organized by Kyiv’s renowned club Closer together with the Kyiv Vechirniy promotional group. It will be held outside by the Kureni restaurant in central Kyiv in accordance with the COVID-19 quarantine restrictions.

Home Decor and Ceramics Market 

The upcoming market at Vsi Svoi, a company that sells Ukraine-made products from different brands, gives a perfect opportunity to make one’s home cozier before the winter season. Over 100 Ukrainian producers of textiles, furniture, home decor, kitchen supplies, souvenirs, cosmetics, and more will sell the best of their products during the two-day market. The market also features nearly 30 Ukrainian producers of ceramics and flower pots. All visitors are asked to wear masks and keep social distance.
