You're reading: Georgian ballet Sukhishvili

Bold, courageous, historic and unpredictable.

The National Georgian ballet Sukhishvili comes to Kyiv once or twice a year, but it’s never enough. Their colorful and energetic performances have proved a hit with audiences across the world. On Broadway, they were honored with “The Best Show of the Year” award in 1990.

To dance in Sukhishvili, you need to be a top-notch acrobat. Dancers seem to mirror each other perfectly, as the synchronicity of the moves is flawless, be it a salto trick, jump, or knife juggling. Sukhishvili ballet has been around for over 65 years, and no matter where they go, they gather large crowds.

If you want to see the performance, you’d better hurry up as tickets always sell out fast.
