Global Gathering festival to hold a massive party for Kyiv clubbers
The world’s biggest and most popular dance and live music festival, Global Gathering is coming to Kyiv once again. So if you’re a fan of massive partying then you already know where you’ll be spending the weekend.
The festivals area of 6,5 hectares is ready to welcome fans of electronic music, and will feature deejays from the U.S., UK, Netherlands, France, Sweden, and Ukraine. Armin Van Buuren, Eric Prydz, Steve Angelo, Sender Kleinenberg, Eddie Halliwell, and Etienne De Crecy will headline dance festival, joining a line-up that features the greatest DJs on the planet including Josh Wink, Nic Fanciulli, Junkie XL (Live) and Dirty South. Naturally plenty of local deejays will also be playing: Slava Flash, Redco, DJ Tapolsky, Stinger, Binokl, DJ Bruno, Woofer, DJ Mays, Dj Anna Lee, Paul Thomas, SKP, Zloy, Chief_MC, John O’Bir, Arseniy, Kirill Doomski, Zezick, Denis Dynamite, Ivan Ionov, Maxim Comodo, James Algate, Oleg Uris, ESTON, Andrey Fiber, Roman’k.
Thirty thousand people are once again expected to congregate at the Chayka aerodrome, on July 12 to soak up the incredible atmosphere and listen to 770 different tracks to be performed at the event, which means about 86 hours of nonstop music. Cutting edge electronic sounds will keep the party going on the five dance arenas day and night (from 2 p.m. till 6 a.m.): groovy house and hot progressive, piercing electro and stylish minimal, euphoric trance and pumping drum and bass are all included in the program. For those who can’t live without drum’n’bass this time there is separate Time2Bass arena. In addition to some of the finest DJs, Global Gathering will also showcase some great live acts. In total – there are more than 50 foreign and Ukrainian artists expected, and 20 dance groups.
Furthermore, Global Gathering Ukraine will provide you with everything you will need to relax at a massive outdoor party. At the festival various daily entertainments will be offered: a huge entertainment park, comfortable bars, barbeque, relaxing lounge area to catch your breath after raving to beats. In order to provide the maximum comfort and maximum quality of entertainment for everyone the organizers have fireworks planned, five tons of food will be available, 80,000 liters of drinks and 5 tons of ice.There will be 130 toilets and five food points.
The guests coming to the fest from other Ukrainian cities or even from abroad will be offered Global Village with tourist services, including special discounts and complete information about transportation and accommodation at the festival, and 30 special buses will be used for transporting the festival’s guests. There’ll also be plenty of Kiss FM deejays spinning on stage, broadcasting the festival or exploring the crowds, so keep your eyes open for your favorites. Live broadcasting from the festival will take place from the special studio, built on the festival site. And it will be aired for 15 hours on Kiss FM.
