“Illiad” show at FreeDom concert hall to include martial arts, music, dance and more

For the last days of May, the Freedom Concert Hall prepared a unique spectacle. The “Iliad” show combines professional martial arts competition with an entertainment program including, art, music, dance, sport, cooking and wine-making achievements, all the amusements the ancient Greeks enjoyed. Freedom Concert Hall will turn into an ancient Greek Odeon where professional sportsmen will compete in free fighting, kung-fu, boxing, and wushu. Svetlana Loboda and TNMK group, theater dance troupe My Way, Ukrainian Stuntmen League, show ballet and an erotic-show will be a part of the eclectic show.

But the highlight of the evening will surely be special guests, American rockers Tito & Tarantula. Visiting Kyiv for the third time, Tito Larriva and his band members will treat Kyiv to their spaghetti westernstyle guitar tunes. The Mexican-born Tito Larriva got his start in the L.A. punk scene as a founding member of the Plugz. However, he reached worldwide popularity as a part of Tito & Tarantula in great part due to his cooperation with filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, which enabled him to provide soundtracks for the movies “Desperado” and “From Dusk till Dawn.” He also played small roles in each of the films.
