If someone has studied Indian dance in India for 13 years, you can be sure he knows his stuff.
Meet our very own Mykhailo Kryvchuk, who was among the first Ukrainians to study classical Indian dance and later promoted the art in Ukraine. The name of the concert, “God-given Art,” stands for the whole mythology of Indian dance, which is believed to be the gods’ way of communicating knowledge about the world through a dancer.
The music will be played by the Heavenly River band, whose members also studied in India.
Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m., Kyiv’s Culture and Education Center “Master Klass”, 34 Lavrska, metro Arsenalna. Free admission.
