If autumn turns you into a couch potato, it’s time to recharge batteries.
Professional athletes and sports enthusiasts have organized a big run with support from the Ministry of Sport, Youth and Family in the center of Kyiv.
There will be three marathons to choose from: 42, 10 or two kilometers.
The First Kyiv Marathon is open to everyone 18 years of age or older and will take place rain or shine.
Winners will be generously rewarded cash prizes of up to $1,000.
Proceeds collected during the event will be used to buy sports equipment for children with HIV living in the orphanage under the patronage of the Svyato-Voznesensky monastery in Chernivtsi Oblast.
