Austrian electronic duo HVOB (Her Voice Over Boys) is back in Kyiv to play in a picturesque spot right by the Dnipro River. Consisting of Anna Müller and Paul Wallner, the duo will present their 2019 album “Rocco.” Known for their minimalist electronic sound, the two have previously performed at some of the world’s most influential music festivals such as Burning Man in Nevada and Sonar in Barcelona. The lineup also features Kyiv star DJs Koloah and Monoconda.

Brave! Factory Festival

One of Ukraine’s biggest and most long-awaited summer festivals is on its way. Since 2017, Brave! Factory has taken place on the weekend of Aug. 24, Ukraine’s Independence Day. After a break due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the festival is returning to Kyivmetrobud, a functioning metro factory. The three-day event offers 80 music acts with an extensive program of electronic music. The lineup features French duo Acid Arab, German duo Modeselektor, British DMX Krew and a number of local DJs.

Nino Katamadze

One of Georgia’s most prominent singers Nino Katamadze will treat the Kyiv audience to her signature soulful music during a solo show. The Georgian jazz diva, who is much loved in Ukraine, mixes Georgian and modern world music sounds with emotional and deep vocals. The singer will perform some of her well-known hits like the famous “Once In The Street” and some new pieces.

Picnic at Platforma Art Factory

Kyivans can say goodbye to summer on one of the last weekends of August at a two-day picnic packed with entertainment. The boho-themed event will promote freedom and open-mindedness, the organizers say. Visitors are welcome to play various sports games, try archery, take dance lessons and yoga, shop for home decor, clothes and accessories. The festival will also offer food and drinks. Ukrainian bands Bahroma, 5 Vymir, The Unsleeping and Komissiya will provide a music show.
