‘New Generation’

The new exhibition at the Nu Art gallery in Kyiv is a chance to explore the works of contemporary Ukrainian photographers. Called “New Generation,” the exhibition features the works of 16 young and talented Ukrainian photographers who explore different aspects of life through their work. All photographs featured in the exhibition explore different topics: Some depict Kyiv and its residents, others portray flowers of different forms and colors, as well as children’s playgrounds, and some photographs, on the other hand, show mysterious operating rooms. The exhibition will be held in Kyiv until Dec. 11. The entrance is free.

Rommedahl, Noizar, Karine

Weekend quarantine is over and now’s just the time to support local businesses and enjoy the weekend to the fullest, following safety measures, of course. Some restrictions, however, are still in force and the entertainment industry and restaurants are not allowed to work later than 10 p.m. For that reason, Kyiv’s hottest club Closer is adjusting to the new reality and organizing a party that will start at 4 p.m. and last until 10 p.m. This time, visitors to the club will dance their hearts out to electronic music hits by local DJs such as Rommedahl, Noizar and Karine. Put on a mask, maintain social distance and dance to the electronic music at Closer on Dec. 5.
