The former territory of the Kureni restaurant, which has been transformed into an outdoor entertainment venue, continues to throw parties every weekend in July. This time, Kureni welcomes all techno music fans in Kyiv to enjoy a set by German DJ and producer Ben Klock. A resident at Berlin’s iconic Berghain nightclub, Klock is the German capital’s “music symbol,” the organizers say. Local DJ Vera Logdanidi will start the night before passing the decks to Klock.

Kyivness
Kyivness market is returning to marvelous Small Mariinsky Palace to give locals another aesthetics overload. The two-day event will, as usual, bring together sellers of vintage items and some local brands that offer apparel, shoes, accessories and decor. The market is worth visiting not just for shopping: There will also be drinks, music and some of the most creative Kyivans to meet and chat.

‘Black Widow’
The long-awaited Marvel Studios superhero film “Black Widow” has finally hit the movie theaters in Kyiv. Based on Marvel Comics, the picture spotlights Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow, or the first female Avenger, confronting a conspiracy tied to her past. “Black Widow’s deeper themes are drowned out in all the action, but it remains a solidly entertaining standalone adventure that’s rounded out by a stellar supporting cast,” Rotten Tomatoes critics wrote. Directed by Australian Cate Shortland, the film stars Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow alongside Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Olga Kurylenko and Rachel Weisz. The screenings will be in English.

Kurazh
Kyiv’s biggest charity flea market, Kurazh, has prepared a whole pack of entertainment for its two-day event. Apart from the usual bric-a-brac stands, there will be electronic music, art exhibitions, natural wine tasting, movie screenings and various attractions for children. “Dance first, think later,” the organizers say.
