Editor’s Note: Ukraine extended its COVID-19 quarantine until Dec. 31 and tightened restrictions across the country on Sept. 23. Kurazh Classy Birthday Party
Kyiv’s biggest charity flea market, Kurazh, celebrates its seventh anniversary this weekend. But the event is overshadowed by the fact that the upcoming market might be the last one since Kurazh is taking a “permanent vacation,” according to its organizers. Yet, it might also be the reason to have an even bigger celebration this time. As usual, the upcoming Kurazh is not just about partying and shopping for vintage: It aims at raising over $14,000 to provide families living in Luhansk, an eastern Ukrainian city affected by Russia’s war on Ukraine, with psychological assistance.
