On Oct. 28, Gazprom chief Alexey Miller said that this company still hasn’t received payment for the gas it sold in August to Naftogaz Ukraine, the nation’s state-owned gas company.
Naftogaz’s debt, according to MIller, is $882 million. Miller said that,
according to the contract, Gazprom can demand prepaid gas supplies if
the Ukrainian side violates the terms of payment.
