Separatist organizations Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk‘s People Republic held local parliament elections that were not recognized by the Ukrainian government.
To attract voters, the organizers launched the sales of vegetables
near polling stations. The vegetables were nearly free, sold at Hr 1
per kilogram.
