Former Lviv judge Roman Zvarych, convicted for taking bribes in 2008, was released on Jan. 11.
He famously said that the $1 million in cash found in his office were
brought by well-wishers in accordance with the Ukrainian post-Christmas
tradition that is similar to caroling and is performed on Jan. 14.
In prison, Zvarych started writing an autobiographical trilogy,”Mein Kampf in Ukraine.”
