Candidate for the U.S. presidency Donald Trump changed party policy on supplying lethal weapons to the Ukrainian armed forces during a national security committee platform meeting of Republican delegates in Cleveland on July 18-21.
Unlike most Republican foreign policy leaders in Washington, Trump is
reluctant to answer Ukraine’s call for weapons to fight Russian-rebel
forces in eastern Ukraine.
