Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko on Feb. 28 accused the Supreme Court of Ukraine of ordering his office to close the corruption investigation against Yuriy Ivaniushchenko, aka Yura Yenakievskiy, a key ally of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych and former lawmaker. Activists argued that Lutsenko‘d office sabotaged the investigation and its closure couldn’t have come as surprise.
