NEWS ITEM: Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolyev was fired by the government on April 28. He says he was fired illegally and challenges the decision. As the Kyiv Post recently learned, Kobolyev received $12.7 million in compensation after being fired, most of it as a bonus for the 2018 victory in the Stockholm Arbitration between Naftogaz and Gazprom. The company, meanwhile, lost nearly $700 million in 2020.
