NEWS ITEM: Popular pro-Russian blogger Anatoly Shariy lives in a 1-million-euro mansion in Spain, according to the investigative journalism outfit Slidstvo.info. Shariy had been trying to conceal where he currently lives because he fled Ukraine in 2012 to avoid multiple criminal cases opened against him here. Shariy’s pro-Kremlin YouTube blog has 2 million subscribers, 40% of whom are from Russia. Shariy is Ukrainian. In 2019, he even created a Ukrainian political party under his name.
