NEWS ITEM: On July 11, English billionaire Richard Branson reached the edge of space in a spaceplane built by his company Virgin Galactic, beating Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who went to space on July 20. On the day of Bezos’ trip, Ukraine’s supermarket chain Silpo attached a baguette and a jar of Ukrainian borsch to a high-altitude balloon, sending Ukrainian treats to the stratosphere.
