NEWS ITEM: Law enforcement authorities recently exposed a “tow truck scheme” in which some towing companies in Kyiv illegally seized hundreds of cars per day to make car owners pay illegal fines. The scheme was allegedly run by five unnamed officials from the Kyiv City State Administration. The investigation comes amid a long-running row between Vitali Klitschko, Kyiv’s mayor and former heavyweight boxing champion, and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky.
