News Item: The United States temporarily stopped issuing visas to citizens of the Russian Federation on Aug. 21, and no Russians will be issued visas to travel to the United States until the end of the month. After Sept. 1, Russians will be able to apply for a U.S. visa, but only in Moscow. The move by the United States came after the Russian authorities ordered a cut the U.S. diplomatic staff in Russia of 755 people in July.
