NEWS ITEM: Former State Fiscal Service chief Roman Nasirov, a suspect in a major corruption case, must be reinstated in his job, Kyiv District Administrative Court ruled on Dec. 11. Nasirov was fired in March 2017 on the formal grounds that he has British citizenship. During his arrest hearings, Nasirov was brought to court on a stretcher. He said he had a heart condition, but critics accused him of simulating it to win sympathy.
