A drone’s-eye view of Kyiv

The Kyiv Post recently purchased a quadcopter — or camera drone. So like kids with new toys, the photographers have been having fun testing it out. The photographers have signed up for classes to learn how to fly, shoot, and navigate the expensive piece of equipment in Ukraine’s capital and beyond. The images captured are particularly useful in depicting stories with general themes, such as the daily Ukraine Digest. The scenery is fascinating and, before the ubiquitous nature of drone technology, such views were mainly enjoyed by birds and helicopter pilots.
