Around 20 activists gathered near Khreshchatyk metro station to celebrate the International Day of Happiness and embrace the passersby on March 20.
Activists gave away the celebration cards devoted to the Happiness Day and offered them a hug to celebrate the holiday.
The Happiness Day is celebrated marked around the world to promote pursuit of happiness as a human right and a “fundamental human goal, ” according to United Nations adviser Jayme Illien, who founded the holiday in 2012.
