Some 30 activists have rallied in Kyiv on Sept. 13 wearing judicial robes and masks of monsters, demanding that the unfair candidates don’t get to Ukraine’s Supreme Court.

Protesters marched from President’s Administration to the building of the Supreme Court.

Ukraine’s High Council of Justice will start reviewing candidates for the Supreme Court on Sept. 14. According to the activists, 30 of 120 candidates, nominated by the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, have received a negative assessment from Ukraine’s independent Public Integrity Council. Activists demand that Ukraine’s High Council of Justice doesn’t promote these “unfair” candidates.
